As with all festivals, there were some stand out events that caught everyone’s eye:

This event was presented by Accenture and discussed how businesses can make more informed choices based on improved customer awareness and the implementation of technology.

Women in Leeds Digital

As a full day event, the conference captured the largest audience of all with students, professionals and key players attending. The turn out itself demonstrates the passion within the #womenintech community and how they are continuing to make traction in the industry.

Building your Data Hubs to Support Digital

Run by Yorkshire Building Society, this event aimed to teach digital players how to best use their data. The talk looked at how increased use of technology creates more diverse data and importantly this needs intersecting correctly.

Our senior consultant Gabbi Trotter attended these two events during the week:

WILDigital

“This is the first ever conference and it was amazing! A really inspiring afternoon hearing from Yorkshire Female Founders and trailblazers. I left feeling truly motivated to be the best I can, and help anyway I can to address the gender imbalance in tech”

BJSS & Searchability's Test Automation

“An insightful breakfast event, we heard from the automation expert that is Martin Huckle from BJSS. He taught us 6 impossible things to do before breakfast to improve your automation. It was great to see attendees from companies such as Mastek, Infinity Works and NHS Digital all in one room learning together!”
